- Use your cushions to set the style and tone of your room
Scatter cushions can completely transform a room so it’s important to look at your space before you select them. A bright splash of colour can add a great contrast to a melancholy decor and become the centrepiece of the once bleak room.
Bold prints and patterns can really transform the style and look of a room. Be careful not to add patterns or colours into an already colourful room as the result may be overwhelming.
If you have a large bright area, then darker cushions will make it feel cosier. Match these to your curtains and other accessories to make the room appear smaller and more intimate. Dark red, orange and plum colours are a good choice here.

- Change your cushions with the different seasons
One of the cheapest and easiest ways to change the look of your room is to match the seasons. Spring and Summer call for bright colours such as pink and blue.
Florals are also a desirable selection for these seasons and there are many collections to choose from. Autumn and Winter call for darker tones and more sombre colours such as orange and red, they can work really well in assisting what’s happening outside.
